About the FNABC
The objectives of the association are to:
-
promote and foster the aims of forest nurseries in the Province of BC and elsewhere where the association's members may be engaged
-
educate government, industry and the public in the benefits of growing forest seedlings and the sustainable management of forest lands
-
promote and support the continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental responsibility in forest seedling nurseries
-
encourage continuing education, research and continual improvement of forest seedling production
-
facilitate communication between forest nurseries.
The association holds an annual general meeting in September which includes presentations on a variety of topics pertinent to the industry, a business meeting, supplier & agency displays, field trips and an awards banquet.
